When I try to define the event TTMaker says "A required resource was unavailable."TTMaker uses Microsoft's new Common Controls. This means that you get the latest facilities provided by Microsoft for entering your information. Unfortunately, Microsoft didn't supply these Common Controls with the original Windows 95 shipment. To have the Common Controls available, you must install Internet Explorer version 3 or later. You don't have to use Internet Explorer, but you do have to install it. You can download the latest version of Internet Explorer from Microsoft's web site. The title screen (splash screen) looks strange and the text has gone off the right hand edge.Early revisions of TTMaker didn't properly handle Large Fonts on your Windows display. Most people use the Small Fonts option for their display, but some use Large Fonts. This problem was fully rectified in TTMaker Revision 1.03. If you are having this problem, you can download the latest revision. The title screen (splash screen) disappears before I can read it.The Demonstration version of TTMaker displays the splash screen for about 7 seconds. A Licensed version displays the splash screen for about 4.5 seconds. If this isn't enough time for you to read it, you can see all your licence details by selecting "About TTMaker" from the "Help" menu. However, if you think the splash screen is displayed for too long a time, you can dismiss immediately by clicking a mouse button or pressing a key. Some of TTMaker's windows don't fit on the screen.Early revisions of TTMaker didn't properly handle Large Fonts on your Windows display. Most people use the Small Fonts option for their display, but some use Large Fonts. This problem was fully rectified in TTMaker Revision 1.03. If you are having this problem, you can download the latest revision. When I build a timetable, TTMaker reports "Minimum Scheduling Failures". What does this mean?Minimum Scheduling Failures occur when you've set a minimum or exact number of times that you want a group to be scheduled, and TTMaker cannot fit the group into the timetable that many times. For example, suppose you've told TTMaker that you want a particular group to be scheduled 100 times. But there are only 90 available slots in the timetable. TTMaker can't make 100 go into 90, so you'll get a Minimum Scheduling Failure. TTMaker performs extensive searches to ensure it can solve your timetabling problem. However, there are some problems that just can't be solved automatically. There are several things you can do to help TTMaker solve your timetabling problem. These are listed in TTMaker's on-line help; look for the help topic "Building the Timetable" for full details. How can I print a list of the groups and their members?TTMaker provides listing reports for groups, participants and venues. On TTMaker's main screen, select the "File" menu, then select "Print", then "Group list". How can I print a list of the participants?TTMaker provides listing reports for groups, participants and venues. On TTMaker's main screen, select the "File" menu, then select "Print", then "Participant list". Can TTMaker print address labels for my contacts?TTMaker provides label printing facilities for your group contacts and your participants. Thanks to the Wagga Wagga Jazz Festival for a great idea! How can I get data from my Word or Excel documents or from a database?Getting data from other applications is called importing data. This is now available in our latest release of TTMaker - Revision 1.86. Please download the latest revision. How can I send TTMaker data to another application?TTMaker allows you to export your data to a text file. The resulting text file is in the standard "comma separated values" format. Many applications, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access, can import data in this format. Can I publish my timetable on the Internet?TTMaker allows you to export your timetable to an HTML document. You can load this HTML document to your Web site and link directly to it. If you wish, you can edit the document before publishing it. TTMaker won't start. It produces an error called "Invalid Page Fault". What's wrong? If you are using Windows 95, you must have installed Internet Explorer 4.01 or later. In recent years, Microsoft has had a policy of including updates to their operating system within the installation package of Internet Explorer. TTMaker, and many other applications, will not operate unless you have Internet Explorer 4.01 or later installed on your Windows 95 system.
